PLANOPRIMER

Synthetic resin primer that creates uniform absorbency on absorbent and solid substrates without rising moisture. Improves bonding of cement-based coatings such as: PLANOCOLOR PREMIUM 2K, PLANOCOLOR VENETICO, PLANOCOLOR ANTICO, PLANOCOLOR PREMIUM TERRA microcement coatings, RC 220 or RC 340 concrete repair mortars, PLANO 120 S/F self-levelling compound, NOVACEM MICRO TERRAZZO coverings, tile adhesives, etc. It is also suitable for application on cement and gypsum boards. The application of the subsequent coating is done “wet on wet” or at most within 10 minutes. It is applied 1:1 to 1:3 in water, depending on the absorbency of the substrate.

• PLANOPRIMER water based acrylic primer:

o is applied:

o in internal & external areas

o on absorbent surfaces such as cast concrete, cement based screeds, brickworks, renders, etc.

o on gypsum and cement boards

o creates suitable adhesive conditions for:

o renders, cement based and acrylic dispersion plasters

o water soluble paints & paints

o tile adhesives, cement based self-leveling compounds, etc.

o waterproofing and repairing mortars, etc.

o microcement screeds of the PLANOCOLOR MICROCEMENT system

• Form: liquid

• Density: 1,05 ± 0,05 kg/L

• Application temperature: from +5°C up to +35°C

Substrate preparation:

The application surface must be solid, clean and free of dust, oils, old coverings and loose parts.

Application:

Before applying, shake the container well. Apply evenly one coat using a brush or roller. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate it can be diluted with water up to 1:3. Application of the covering can take place as long as the surface is slightly dump.

Recommendations:

• Do not apply when the substrate & ambient temperatures are lower than +5°C and higher than +35°C and the relative humidity of the atmosphere exceeds 80%

• Do not apply on surfaces with humidity that exceeds 4%

• For low absorbency substrates apply at the maximum dilution rate (1:3) so that no film is created

• It is recommended that the application be made by a professional user
