PLANO CONTACT FAST

Fast setting quartz primer used for creating an adhesion bridge on non-absorbent and smooth substrates such as: metal, glass, existing paving and also slightly absorbent such as gypsum boards, cement boards, smooth concrete. It is used prior to the application of ceramic tiles with cement-based adhesives (like NOVACOL FLEX, NOVACOL ULTRA GEL), microcement coatings such as PLANOCOLOR PREMIUM, organic plasters such as PLANOCOLOR ACR or quartz plasters prepared by using PLANOCOLOR AC acrylic binder. It can receive the subsequent layer after 15-60 minutes. For slightly absorbent substrates it can be applied diluted up to 10% with water.

• PLANO CONTACT FAST fast setting adhesion quartz primer:

o can be used on:

o internal and external floors and walls

o smooth substrates and substrates with low absorbency surfaces such as old ceramic, terrazzo, natural stones, glass and metal

o concrete, gypsum and cement boards, thermal insulating panels

o old paints

o creates suitable adhesion conditions for:

o all types of cement, gypsum, lime-based and acrylic plasters

o tile adhesives, smoothing and leveling compounds

o decorative coatings and microcement of the PLANOCOLOR system

• Form: creamy liquid

• Density: 1,45 ± 0,05 kg/L

• Waiting time before applying coating: 15-60 minutes

• Application temperature: from +5°C up to +35°C

Substrate preparation:

Substrates must be clean, dry, well-cured and free from oil, grease, cement laitance and loose parts.

Application:

Before applying stir the contents of the container until a homogenous mixture. PLANO CONTACT FAST may be applied to the substrate by brush or by roller. Once dry you can apply the plaster or mortar. The waiting time varies depending on the environmental conditions and absorbency of the substrate. For light absorbent surfaces it can be diluted up to 10% with water.

Recommendations:

Avoid using PLANO CONTACT FAST:

• In cases where the substrate and environment temperature is less than +5°C or higher than +35°C as well the relative humidity is greater 80%

• on wet substrates

Also note the following:

• Never exceed the maximum recommended quantity of mixing water (10%)

• Protect the tilled surface from rain and frost for the first 1 hour

• Application should be performed by professional user
